Unique Job Opportunity for Environmental and Veterinary Researchers
A foreign organization is looking for an Algerian researcher to join its expert team focused on the study and conservation of the Houbara bustard, as part of scientific and field-based projects aimed at protecting endangered species.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field studies and environmental research related to the behavior and distribution of Houbara bustards in the wild and in captivity.
Monitor environmental factors affecting the birds’ health and reproduction.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement endangered species management plans.
Participate in the design and execution of captive breeding and wildlife reintroduction programs.
Collect and analyze environmental and veterinary data, and provide regular scientific reports.
Offer basic veterinary support (if experienced), including disease management, diagnostics, vaccination, and preventive care.
Contribute to environmental education and awareness programs.
Coordinate with international organizations and research centers on conservation and breeding programs.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental sciences, biology, veterinary medicine, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in environmental research, wildlife centers, or conservation programs.
Experience working with birds, especially endangered species, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of field research methods and statistical data collection.
Proficiency in GIS systems and environmental data analysis tools.
Good scientific writing and reporting skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Strong background in ecology and animal behavior.
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to engage in fieldwork under varying environmental conditions.
Effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
